A big "Thank You" to all the ambitious SemDems that have been working so hard walking precincts, getting petitions signed and getting the word out about us around Seminole County. Among those hard workers are volunteers on the membership committee: Meta Scott, Laurie Lee and Lavonne Grayson, along with DEC members Rose Washington, Dorothy Adala and Wanda Frazier. Ladies, you just earned yourself a gold star!
Our Seminole Democrat of July is...Belinda Morgan-Sterling!

Belinda has been tirelessly volunteering for the DEC since she got on board after working on President Obama’s campaign. She is Co-Chair of the membership committee and has proven to be as determined in this role to make a difference as she was during the Obama campaign. She has brought in many new members and has encouraged new volunteers on her committee to get involved in different aspects of the organization. Her calm demeaner creates the comfortable atmosphere that keeps the new members coming back. In her free time, she volunteer's with "Guardian ad Litem" as a voice for at-risk children, spends time with her sorority sisters or travels with her handsome husband, Jock.
Congratulations Belinda…SemDem of the month!
